Itineraries

Day 1

Your Plan

Day 01: Arrival in Leh
Arrive at Leh pick up & transfer to hotel check in hotel. You are advised to take complete rest for the day to
adapt yourself with the new environment at 11,135 feet altitude. Later, in the evening visit
the Leh Market, Leh Palace, known as ‘Lachen Palkhar’ and Shanti Stupa, located on a hilltop near
Chanspa. Dinner & Overnight stay at hotel.
Since you are reaching an altitude of 4000 meters approximately from 200 mtrs in just one hour’s time, you may
be excited and would want to explore everything on your very first day. However, it is your body which needs
to get acclimatized to such height and climate. We sincerely suggest that you rest on the first day for body
acclimatization.

Day 2

Your Plan

Day 02: Visit Sangam (Confluence of Zanskar and Indus River), Gurudwara Pathhar Sahib, Magnetic hill, Hall
of Fame, Spituk Monastery
In the morning after breakfast, start the journey towards Sangam (Confluence of Zanskar and Indus River). En-
route visit Magnetic Hill (gravity hill, a type of optical illusion created by rising and descending terrain) and
Gurudwara Patthar Sahib (constructed in the memory of Guru Nanak). On your way back, visit Ladakh Hall of
fame (Run by the Indian Army, this museum/war memorial houses weapons, history exhibits & a souvenir shop)
followed by a visit to Spituk Monastery (also known as Spituk Gompa or Pethup Gompa). After this came back
to the hotel and spent the evening at leisure. Dinner & overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 3

Your Plan

Day 03: Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardungla Pass (135Km / 5 Hours approx)
Today after breakfast, proceed to Nubra Valley (Hunder) via the World’s Highest Motorable road (5602 Mts)
Khardungla pass. Khardung la Pass (18,380ft above sea level): It is not very often that one gets to drive on a road
at an altitude of 18,380 feet. That is where Khardungla Pass, meaning the ‘Pass of Lower Castle,’ is located on
the way from Leh to the Nubra Valley in Ladakh. It is the highest motorable road in the world as signs put up by
the Border Roads Organization proudly proclaim. On arrival at Nubra Valley (Hunder), check in at a comfortable
camp and relax. After relaxing for a while, proceed for a visit to the White Sand Dunes at Hunder. You can also
enjoy a camel ride here (Camel ride on direct payment basis). Afterwards, I came back to the hotel. Spend
evening at leisure. Dinner & overnight stay at the Hotel.

Day 4

Your Plan

Day 04: Nubra Valley (Hunder) to Pangong via Shyok
Morning after Breakfast, check out and visit Diskit Monastery. Post this, proceed for the journey to Pangong via
Shyok. Diskit Monastery: Diskit Monastery also known as Deskit Gompa or Diskit Gompa is the oldest and largest
Buddhist monastery in the Nubra Valley of Ladakh. On arrival check in at your camp in Pangong. Later, explore
Pangong Lake and spend some quality time at Lake. After this, come back to the camp. Dinner and overnight
stay at the camp

Day 5

Your Plan

Day 05: Pangong to Leh via Changla Pass (approx. 155 kms one way)
In the morning, have breakfast at your camp in Pangong. Thereafter, proceed for your journey back to Leh via
Changla pass. On the way, if you want, you can halt at the richest and the largest monastery of Ladakh, Hemis
Monastery. Afternoon arrival in Leh. After arriving, check in to the hotel and enjoy the evening at leisure. Dinner
and overnight stay at the Hotel.

Day 6

Your Plan

Day 06: Hotel – Leh Airport drop
Morning after breakfast, transfer to Leh airport to board the flight back to destination. Journey ends with exotic memories and stories to be related once back home
