Day 1

Day 1: Arrival in Leh
Activities:
Arrival: Land at Leh Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport and transfer to your hotel.
Acclimatization: Rest and acclimatize to the high altitude (3,500 meters). It's crucial to take it easy on your first day.
Leh Market: In the evening, take a leisurely stroll in Leh Market and visit Leh Palace for panoramic views of the town.
Overnight: Stay at a hotel in Leh.
Day 2

Day 2: Leh Sightseeing
Activities:
Shey Palace & Monastery: Visit Shey Palace, the former summer capital of Ladakh, known for its massive Buddha statue.
Thiksey Monastery: Explore Thiksey Monastery, a large and architecturally stunning Tibetan Buddhist monastery, often compared to the Potala Palace in Lhasa.
Hemis Monastery: Drive to Hemis Monastery, the largest and wealthiest monastery in Ladakh, famous for its annual Hemis festival.
Stok Palace Museum: On the way back, visit Stok Palace Museum, which houses a collection of royal artifacts.
Overnight: Return to your hotel in Leh.

Day 3: Leh to Nubra Valley (via Khardung La)
Activities:
Drive to Nubra Valley: After an early breakfast, drive to Nubra Valley via Khardung La Pass (18,380 feet), one of the highest motorable roads in the world.
Diskit Monastery: Visit Diskit Monastery, the oldest and largest monastery in Nubra, and see the 32-meter tall Maitreya Buddha statue.
Hunder Sand Dunes: Explore the sand dunes in Hunder, and enjoy a camel ride on the double-humped Bactrian camels, unique to this region.
Overnight: Stay at a camp or hotel in Nubra Valley.
Day 4

Day 4: Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake (via Shyok)
Activities:
Drive to Pangong Lake: After breakfast, drive to Pangong Lake via the Shyok route. This route offers breathtaking views of the landscape, passing through remote villages and crossing small streams.
Pangong Lake: Arrive at Pangong Lake, the world's highest saltwater lake, known for its ever-changing hues of blue. Spend the afternoon by the lake, soaking in its serene beauty.
Overnight: Stay at a camp near Pangong Lake.
Day 5

Day 5: Pangong Lake to Leh (via Chang La)
Activities:
Morning at Pangong: Enjoy the sunrise at Pangong Lake, when the lake changes its colors dramatically. After breakfast, drive back to Leh via Chang La Pass (17,590 feet), one of the highest mountain passes in the world.
En route: Visit the famous 3 Idiots School (Druk White Lotus School) in Shey.
Shanti Stupa: In the evening, visit Shanti Stupa, a white-domed Buddhist stupa offering breathtaking views of Leh and the surrounding mountains.
Overnight: Stay at a hotel in Leh.
Day 6
Your Plan
Day 6: Departure from Leh
Activities:
Check-out: After breakfast, check out from your hotel and transfer to Leh Airport for your onward journey.
Optional: If time permits before your flight, you can visit local attractions like Magnetic Hill, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, or the Hall of Fame Museum.
